Capabilities
The entry-level Genesis G80 is equipped with a standard turbocharged 2.5-liter inline four-cylinder engine that comes through with 300 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque. If you're interested in a higher level of velocity you can get the 3.5-liter turbocharged twin-turbo V6 that's good for 375 horsepower and 391 pound-feet of torque. The bigger engine in the 2025 G80 can take you from zero to 60 mph in 5.9 seconds. If you put a higher priority on fuel economy, the four-cylinder version of the G80 can give you up to 29 MPG on the highway.
The twin-turbo V6 in the 2025 G80 can go even faster than the inline four-cylinder, reaching 60 mph in 4.9 seconds according to the editors at Car and Driver. Both engines are matched up with an eight-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive. The 2025 Genesis G80 with the four-cylinder can deliver up to 30 MPG on the highway with the four-cylinder while the twin-turbo V6 tops out at 25 MPG on the highway. The 2025 Genesis G80 Electrified is the fastest model of all, accelerating from zero to 60 mph in 4.1 seconds. The electric G80 operates with an 87.2-kilowatt battery and it takes about 7 hours and 33 minutes to reach a full charge. Driving range is estimated at 282 miles which, of course, is far less than the 498 miles of maximum driving range with a gas-powered Genesis G80 on a full tank.

The new Genesis G80 has the kind of upscale cabin you would expect in a luxury car, giving you soft-touch surfaces and a streamlined dashboard. The 2024 version of the G80 has a big 14.5-inch touch screen that's mounted on the top of the dashboard and serves as the hub for the G80 infotainment system. The 2024 G80 also offers available features like a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, the elegance of ambient interior lighting as well as heated and ventilated front and rear seats. The trunk provides you with 13.1 cubic feet of cargo space. Standard safety features in the new Genesis G80 include lane-centering, blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, automatic high-beam headlights, a rearview camera, lane-departure warning and rear cross-traffic alert. The updated 2025 Genesis G80 comes with a massive 27.0-inch OLED screen and it also has new LED lighting in the cabin. A reconfigurable gauge display is positioned on the left side of the panel and further to the right is the touch-sensitive infotainment interface. Every version of this luxury sedan for 2024 and 2025 is equipped with built-in navigation plus Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™.
